Biography
Barrett Simonis is president of Pugh CPAs, a Knoxville accounting firm where he began his career in 2001. A past chair of the Tennessee Society of CPAs Board of Directors, he also serves on the governing council of the American Institute of CPAs. Simonis is a member of the UT Accounting and Information Management Advisory Board and serves on the boards of the Museum of Appalachia and the East Tennessee Foundation. A dedicated community leader, he is a Leadership Knoxville graduate and a recipient of the 2024 University of Tennessee Alumni Service Award for his outstanding service and leadership.
