Biography

Brenda Baird is an executive coach with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business Executive MBA programs. She partners with top-performing leaders and C-suite executives to help them achieve clarity and chart a path to an envisioned future. She motivates clients to reach further to maximize their talent advantage. Drawing on strategic thinking, insight and experience as a business leader and talent development executive, Baird helps her clients focus on their strengths so they can elevate their performance and achieve lasting, transformative results.

Baird coaches top-performing leaders across the management spectrum in healthcare, higher education, retail, associations and government, including technology, engineering, finance, operations, marketing and human resources. Before joining the professional coaching industry, she spent 15 years as president and CEO of Mobile Communications Corporation and then eight years as director of learning and development for a global pharmaceutical company. Baird serves as president of the International Coaching Federation – Tennessee Chapter. A frequent panelist and speaker on subjects of leadership development, Baird has been the recipient of the ATHENA International Leadership Award.
