Haslam College of Business Charles Hamrick

Charles works with the PGA TOUR’s Korn Ferry Tour on the “outside the ropes” partnerships. This includes working with Event Organizers, Golf Courses, and Major Sponsors to create tournaments that are both financially successful as well as delivering a value to the communities in which they are played. The goal of the Korn Ferry Tour is to identify, prepare, and transition the next wave of PGA TOUR stars by engaging with partners, communities, and fans worldwide. Charles has worked at the PGA TOUR since leaving UTK in 2006 and has experienced a number of different departments across the TOUR.

Why did you join HYAB?
“To continue to connect with other young alumni across the country, but also to make an impact on the university as well as the current students. I have my job today because an alumni took the time to speak to me and share his career path with me. I want to pay it forward to the next generation.”
