Biography

Christine Vossler, who has been with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, for 18 years, serves as Program Operations and HCB Doctoral Coordinator.

In addition to her operational and leadership responsibilities within Haslam, Vossler is also a lecturer in UT’s Department of Sociology. Her research interests focus on the role of language in shaping social structures and actions, including criminal behavior, and critically examines the potential and challenges of restorative justice in addressing crime and conflict.

Vossler’s teaching portfolio includes multiple sections of courses such as criminal justice and gender and crime, along with a wide array of topics in introduction to sociology. She has also taught multiple sections of BUAD 300 (Insight: Becoming Personally and Professionally Aware as a Leader) and BUAD 200 (Insight: Becoming an Ethical Leader and Effective Communicator) for Haslam.
