Biography

David Dongyoon Shin is an assistant professor of economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business. His research explores how environmental policies affect macroeconomic outcomes, using dynamic general equilibrium models. Shin teaches intermediate macroeconomics and PhD-level macroeconomics courses. Originally from South Korea, he has also lived in Germany, Hungary, Thailand and China.
