Why did you join HYAB?
“To give back to the University and to help students understand the different opportunities they have. Also, to tell stories and memories of the great times I had on campus. Point students in the right career direction and who they may need to talk to in order to get their foot in the door. Students will soon find out their degree will not find their career. Cultivating relationships and pushing oneself to be uncomfortable will help them find that career. I want to help students set themselves apart from their competition. The University of Tennessee is one big family and I want to be a mentor like many alumni were for me.”
