Haslam College of Business - Mark Atkeson

Biography

Mark Atkeson is a lecturer in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business, where he has also served on the department advisory board. He retired at the rank of major after 31 years of service in the Ohio State Highway Patrol. During his tenure, he sat on a number of state and national boards and committees. Simultaneously, he served as a Genoa Township trustee. After two years in the private sector advising clients on criminal justice issues, Atkeson served as the executive director of the Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirement System for eight years.
