Biography
Syed Kamal is an assistant department head and teaching associate professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business. A proud UT Ph.D. alumnus, he is excited to be back on Rocky Top after teaching and serving in academic leadership roles in Texas and Oklahoma. Before academia, Kamal served on active duty in the U.S. Army.
