Biography
Zulay Buchs is a teaching assistant professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business. She is also an entrepreneur whose work connects strategic management, entrepreneurship, organizational theory and leadership.
Her perspective is shaped by living and working across four continents. She speaks Spanish, English and French fluently and brings entrepreneurial experience from founding a skincare brand in Switzerland. This experience informs her approach to teaching strategy, venture creation and decision-making under uncertainty.
In the classroom, Buchs encourages clear thinking, thoughtful decision-making and growth through change.
