Nayasha Farrior is assistant director for academic support and partnerships in the Office of Access and Community Connections. Her previous experience includes working in the Haslam College of Business in several roles, rising from academic advisor to senior advisor to master advisor before assuming her current title. Prior to coming to UT, she held positions with Scarab Behavior Health Services, the University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University. Farrior also is certified as an Intercultural Development Inventory administrator. In addition to her duties with diversity and community relations, Farrior is involved in the UT community in a variety of ways. She serves on various search committees and participates in the Exploring Majors and Careers program by presenting to First Year Studies 101 classes each term. She was nominated for Chancellor’s Academic Advisor Awards in 2017 and 2018. A native Nashvillian, Farrior holds an MA and a BA in communications from Western Kentucky University.
