Biography

Sherry M.B. Thatcher is the Regal Distinguished Professor and Vallett Family Faculty Fellow in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business. She also serves as the Deputy Department Head of the department. Her research interests focus on diversity, identity and conflict, and she is one of the leading experts in team faultlines.

Thatcher currently serves as a consulting editor of the Journal of Management, and she previously served as the editor-in-chief at the Academy of Management Review. Her work appears in the top journals of her field, including the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies and Decision Support Systems.
