Vol Court
Vol Court is a five-week entrepreneurial speaker series that culminates in a pitch competition. Participants put what they’ve learned into practice by pitching their business ideas to a panel of successful entrepreneurs for a chance to win $1,500, office space in the University of Tennessee Research Foundation Business Incubator and various professional services.
Vol Court sessions are held Tuesday evenings during the fall and spring semesters. UT students, faculty, staff, alumni and local community members are welcome to attend. Participants who attend all 4 speaker sessions are eligible to pitch in week five. There is no application or cost to attend this series.
Schedule
Each series includes four speaker sessions conducted by successful entrepreneurs and UT faculty and experts.
Sponsors and Partners
Vol Court would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsor The Scott and Dianna Roe Foundation. And we would also like to thank our in-kind partners UT Research Foundation, PYA, Morehous Legal Group, 3 Roots Capital, and Innovative Design, Inc. for their continuing support.
