Holiday Gift Guide 
Showcase your student-owned business this holiday season!

The Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business is proud to present its annual Holiday Gift Guide, a curated collection highlighting innovative products and services from student-owned businesses.

The Anderson Center is currently accepting applications from undergraduate and graduate students who have turned their educational experiences into growing businesses. Selected applicants will be featured in the Holiday Gift Guide, distributed through a variety of UT channels.

This is a unique opportunity for student entrepreneurs to showcase their ventures to thousands across the university and beyond. Approved businesses will also receive a shareable digital link to the final guide.

Celebrate Student Innovation This Holiday Season

Carrying the torch for future Volunteers means supporting today’s students, and few opportunities are more meaningful than investing in their entrepreneurial ambitions.

Help celebrate and promote student innovation by sharing the Holiday Gift Guide with friends, family and colleagues.

Eligibility and Participation Terms

Currently enrolled, full-time UT students (graduate and undergraduate) are eligible to apply.

By submitting an application, participants acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Offensive products are not permitted, including items with inappropriate language, sexual content or references to alcohol or narcotics
  • The business must not use UT-owned intellectual property, including on the business website or in product offerings
    • Community Connect Crafter Program – Before an individual or business may use University of Tennessee, Knoxville logos and marks, formal permission must be granted through a license agreement. If vendors wish to handcraft unique items featuring UT marks and sell directly to consumers, this program is the gateway to an official licensed agreement. With a low annual fee and a simple application process, it is ideal for small-scale artisans looking to share the Volunteer spirit. Learn more and apply
  • Business owners are fully responsible for customer service, order fulfillment, payment processing and the products sold
  • Business owners are also responsible for proper business registration, tax collection and remittance, income tax filings and all other legal requirements of operating a business
  • The university is not responsible for any transactions or communications between business owners and consumers
  • UT reserves the right to remove any listing from the gift guide at any time, in accordance with campus policy or at the discretion of university leadership

Key Dates

  • September 29 – Applications open at 8 a.m.
  • November 10 – Applications close at 11:59 p.m
  • November 24 – Holiday Gift Guide is published and shared across UT networks
  • December 8 – Holiday Gift Guide is recirculated to UT networks
