Undergraduate Program

The Haslam College of Business has one of the most comprehensive, forward-thinking and highly regarded supply chain programs in the world. It is consistently ranked among the top five programs by U.S. News & World Report and Gartner. An advisory board of more than 40 industry professionals informs our curriculum, and students develop the skills to help improve organizational performance through supply chain management.

Haslam’s program offers multiple opportunities for undergraduate students to network with and learn directly from industry professionals through guest lectures, service learning classes, site-visits and events with members of the Global Supply Chain Institute.

High School Preparation

High school students should follow a college preparatory curriculum and take their high school’s recommended courses in math, English and foreign languages. Appropriate electives include any business courses, as well as courses in computer software applications and written and oral communication.

Prospective Students

Haslam further encourages all high school students to:

  1. explore international business issues and opportunities
  2. participate in student organizations and clubs
  3. volunteer in their community.

How Do I Major in Supply Chain Management?

University of Tennessee, Knoxville, students have multiple options in pursuing the study of supply chain management as their undergraduate major. Must be admitted into the Haslam College of Business.  Students majoring in supply chain management will receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and have the option of obtaining a collateral concentration in:

  • Business Analytics
  • Finance
  • Sales
  • Information Management
  • International Business

An internship is required as part of the major in supply chain management.
