Haslam’s OACC is dedicated to working with faculty and staff to support continued learning and college improvment.
The OACC offers two initiatives specifically for Haslam College of Business faculty and staff. The Professional Development Fund focuses on continued education for staff, while the Connections and Engagement Council involves Haslam faculty and staff in efforts to improve the college’s culture.
Optimizing the individual strengths and contributions of staff leaders is vital to the Haslam College of Business’ success and collective longevity. The Professional Development Fund for Staff (PDFS) is an effort to encourage staff support and workplace excellence through continuous learning, training, and development.
The mission of the Connections and Engagement Council is to be intentional in the Haslam College of Business. Serving as a resource, advisor, and advocate, the Connections and Engagement Council works to foster meaningful opportunities that encourage and enhance understanding as critical to business and community success.
The Inclusion and Engagement Summit, sponsored by the Haslam College of Business and its Office of Access and Community Connections, is open to all Haslam administrators, faculty, staff and students. This event provides opportunities for attendees to engage in meaningful conversations and learn how to define pathways toward inclusive and collaborative leadership.
Haslam College’s Office of Access & Community Connections hosts engaging Lunch and Learn events that bring together students, faculty, and community members for an enriching midday experience. These sessions provide a platform for sharing innovative ideas, insights, and best practices through interactive presentations and discussions.
