Terry Neal
Richard L. Townsend Accounting Chair, Professor
Terry L. Neal, Ph.D., CPA, is the Richard L. Townsend Accounting Chair and head of the Department of Accounting and Information Management at the University of Tennessee. He also is the director of the University of Tennessee’s C. Warren Neel Corporate Governance Center. Neal currently teaches a graduate course in advanced financial accounting topics and has also taught an undergraduate intermediate accounting course, an undergraduate auditing course and a doctoral seminar in empirical/archival research with an emphasis on auditing and corporate governance issues.
