Luke Cornelius is a senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business, majoring in management with a collateral in supply chain management and a minor in environmental studies.

Fulfilling his passion for environmental sustainability, Cornelius founded the Sustainable Business Organization, a campus club focused on changing the way UT does business in a more environmentally friendly way. He served as the club’s president from its creation in the spring of 2022 through fall 2024. Cornelius is also as an active member of the Student Environmental Initiative Committee Board and the Dining Advisory Board, advocating for sustainable change across campus.

Cornelius has been a member of the Management Society since his first year at UT, serving as the vice president for the last two years. While at UT, he also joined the UT Men’s Ultimate Frisbee Team where he stays busy traveling for tournaments each semester.

Off campus, Cornelius volunteers weekly at the Campbell County Animal Shelter and participates in various cleanups around Knoxville. He also completed an internship with GEODIS Logistics, in Brentwood, Tennessee, during which he worked as a transportation management intern. He then went on to work with IBM as a procurement professional intern in Raleigh, North Carolina. As he embarks on his search for a full-time position after college, Cornelius aims to join a company that integrates sustainability with business on a large scale.
