Admissions Process
Haslam graduate admissions employ a flexible admissions process that relies on a variety of factors to make a holistic assessment of each applicant’s fit and likelihood of program success. The selection process is designed to ensure the delivery of a rigorous program and provide opportunities to applications from diverse education, professional and personal backgrounds.
MS in Marketing
Requirements
Program admission requirements vary as a function of students’ educational and professional backgrounds. All required admission information must be provided for a program to consider an application.
In addition to the general application requirements, all MS in Marketing applicants must complete the following:
- Submit three letters of recommendation, including one from a marketing faculty member at an AACSB-accredited college of business
- Complete a recorded interview
- Pay a $60 application fee
All undergraduate degrees are accepted; however, students must have completed pre-enrollment coursework to be considered for admission. Pre-enrollment coursework includes Introduction to Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research and Introduction to Statistics or an equivalent, all with a C or better. Haslam undergraduate marketing students must have an average GPA in all marketing courses of a 3.0 or better.
