Alycia King is a lecturer and student engagement coordinator with the Department of Accounting and Information Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Tennessee. After practicing as a tax accountant at Crowe Horwath, King transitioned to the private industry, eventually gaining the position of Chief Financial Officer of a management company where she obtained extensive experience in both financial and managerial accounting. King has taught introductory financial courses, as well as courses focused on cost accounting, managerial accounting and federal taxation. In her role as student engagement coordinator, she seeks to enrich student experiences through her support of student organizations, competitions and other student activities that connect students to their academic and professional communities.
