Biography

Jeff Barland is an assistant professor of practice in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business. In his more than 30-year career, he has held supply chain leadership roles across multiple sectors, including retail, distribution and manufacturing. He is certified in project management through the Project Management Institute and production and inventory management and integrated resource management by the Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS). Before joining Haslam, Barland was an online instructor of operations management, supply chain, project management and business analytics for the University of Washington and Arkansas Technical University.
