The 2022 Haslam Summer Scholars Research Awards program has awarded 42 grants totaling approximately $950,000 to Haslam College of Business faculty members to pursue high-quality research. This represents the highest single-year monetary total in the program’s nine-year history. Since its inception, the program has funded more than $4 million in faculty research.
“As our faculty have continued to grow in number and in terms of capabilities, their aggregate research output has increased as well,” Chad Autry, the college’s associate dean for research and faculty and the R. Stanley Bowden II Faculty Research Fellow, said. “Our supporters’ generosity has enabled us to award summer grants totaling nearly $1 million this year, an unprecedented amount that will increase our thought leaders’ ability to conduct the kind of impactful research that has earned worldwide recognition for the Haslam College of Business in recent years.”
