The 2020 Haslam Summer Scholars Research Awards program has awarded 28 grants totaling $683,000 to Haslam College of Business faculty members to conduct high-quality research. Now in its seventh year, the program has funded nearly $3 million in faculty research.
“Summer research grants help some of our most productive scholars work on the kinds of large and impactful projects that result in top-tier publications and make a real contribution to business practice,” said Charles Noble, Haslam associate dean for research and faculty and the Joe Johnson Faculty Research Fellow. “This kind of top-quality research also is a critical part of our success in various school rankings, where we have made great strides in recent years.”
Faculty members will hold their research designations for the entire 2020-21 academic year. The recipients, representing every discipline within Haslam, are:

The Haslam Summer Scholars Research Awards are funded by the Chancellor’s Faculty Support Challenge and private donations.
