Seven student startups were awarded cash prizes in the ninth annual University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Graves Undergraduate Business Plan Competition last week.

High Growth Category

First Place: David Herberich and Jesse McCrary — ImmersaCad
Second Place: Dimitriy Petrov and Zach Issacs — Amerus Enterprises
Third Place (tie): Taylor Adkins (w/Thomas West, a student at Virginia Tech) —
SilkOps and Will Lifferth — Gifted Analytics

Lifestyle Category

First Place: Kevin White — Gameday Weekenders
Second Place: Jared Smith, Kyle Bashour and Kaleigh Veca — mooch
Third Place: Beatriz Satizabal — MBD Cleaning
