Andrew Hanson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his B.A. in Economics from Davidson College.
His specialties lie in the fields of macroeconomics and macrofinance, with a particular focus on rational asset price bubbles. He seeks to understand how rational bubbles interact with the real economy, and subsequently how policymakers might respond to their presence.
