Biography

Andrew Hanson is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Hanson’s specialties lie in the fields of macroeconomics and macrofinance, with a particular focus on rational asset price bubbles. He seeks to understand how rational bubbles interact with the real economy, and, subsequently, how policymakers might respond to their presence.
