Haslam College of Business Hancen Sale

As the chief policy advisor and economist for East Tennessee REALTORS, a professional trade association representing more than 6,000 members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries, Sale oversees the association’s government relations strategy and advocacy initiatives across the region. Sale also leads the association’s housing and economic research, providing expert analysis of economic trends and housing market conditions for members, policymakers, and the public. His insights frequently appear in recognized media outlets including the Washington Post, the Knoxville News Sentinel, the Tennessean, and local broadcast networks.
