Matt Henriksson is an assistant professor of finance at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research interests include investments, behavioral finance, politics in finance, FinTech and applications of textual analysis. His work is forthcoming in the Journal of Finance and the Review of Financial Studies and has been presented at several leading finance conferences, including the American Finance Association and the North American SFS Cavalcade annual meetings. Prior to joining the Haslam College of Business, he served on the faculty at the University of Mississippi for three years. Before that, he taught courses at the University of South Florida, where earned his Ph.D. in finance. Prior to returning to academia, he spent six years working at The Walt Disney Company, where he led a team of business forecasting/planning analysts in the Department of Revenue Management and Analytics. He holds an MBA and a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Florida.
