Biography

Sam Springer of Maryville, Tennessee, provides comprehensive financial planning solutions to clients and their families. He holds a B.S. in business administration and a Master of Accountancy with a tax concentration and is a licensed CPA. Springer was a pitcher for the Tennessee baseball team and remains active in the Knoxville community, serving with the Rotary Club of Knoxville, and as a council member for the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, in addition to his work with Haslam’s Young Alumni Board.

Why did you join HYAB?
“I joined the Haslam Young Alumni Board because I wanted to give back to the university I am passionate about. I believe the Board is a great opportunity to connect with current students, alumni, and faculty to volunteer in many different ways. The Board provides us with the opportunity to mentor and grow the college we all love. This is a tremendous opportunity to be a part of something bigger than us. This university has provided me with education, life lessons, and leadership development. I can only hope to make an impact in others’ lives the way the Haslam College of Business has impacted me.”
