AACSB Accounting Accreditation
The Haslam College of Business is proud to be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Currently, 817 business schools in 53 countries hold this honor, which is the world’s most recognized professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn. In addition, Haslam is among the 186 institutions to hold a specialized AACSB accreditation for its accounting program.
Achieving AACSB’s supplemental accounting accreditation demonstrates a business school’s commitment to strategic management, student success, thought leadership and societal impact. To earn the accounting accreditation, an AACSB-accredited school must fulfill not only the nine business accreditation standards but also six additional accreditation standards that are specific to the discipline and profession of accounting.
In 2022, UT went through the five-year maintenance of accreditation process for the college and accounting, receiving continued accreditation of both until 2027.
