Biography

Huseyn Abdulla is an assistant professor of supply chain management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business.

Abdulla’s research examines how people, policies and processes interact in retail supply chains and how these interactions impact different performance outcomes of retail firms. His research has been published in prestigious academic journals such as the Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management. Insights from his research have appeared in national and international media outlets, such as Fast Company, Supply Chain Digital, The Conversation and Yahoo! Finance.

Abdulla serves as the initiative editor for the registered reports review initiative of the Journal of Operations Management. He also serves as a reviewer for Production and Operations Management, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Operations Research, Decision Sciences and California Management Review journals.
