Alex R. Zablah is the Gerber/Taylor Distinguished Professor of Marketing in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and currently serves as head of the Department of Marketing and Kinney Family Faculty Research Fellow. He previously served on the marketing faculty at Oklahoma State University and George Mason University. Zablah’s research seeks to improve understanding of how frontline factors (organizational processes, employees and technologies) influence the quality of the interactions that occur between a firm and its customers, and, ultimately, firm performance.
