Integrating Lean and TOC
Course Description
This course demonstrates how the two philosophies, Lean Thinking and the Theory of Constraints, can be integrated to gain significant competitive advantage. Two intense hands-on simulations are used to reinforce these learnings. These simulations specifically model the low volume, high variation environment present in MRO facilities.
What you will learn- Gain a deeper understanding on some key questions: Why do organizations need Lean and who is responsible for the success of Lean.
- Understand the leverage points for improving organizational performance by enhancing capacity while simultaneously improving responsiveness.
- Develop a better understanding on how to combine Lean Thinking with the Theory of Constraints in a synergistic manner to gain competitive advantage.
